Since 2009, Ratts has been putting music in people's hands one record at a time. What started as a small record store in Newton, Iowa, focused on vinyl has grown into a spot for all music lovers, collectors, and tourists visiting Des Moines, boasting a diverse collection of vintage band merchandise, media, and clothing for the community we serve.
We're more than a record store; whether you're hunting down specific band memorabilia, looking for vintage clothing, one-of-a-kind concert posters, or just want to talk music, you'll find a home here. Our community is the heart of everything we do, and our goal is to share our love of music with everyone who walks through our doors.

Our Shipping Policies

At Ratts, all purchases made through Ratts Underground Records' online store are not eligible for refunds once shipped unless the media is unplayable. Customer error, shipping damage, or changing your mind do not constitute a refund.
Unless specified, all media is used and may feature manufacturer or human-made errors. We take pride in what we sell. Every item is professionally inspected and cleaned before being listed. For all media, we follow the Goldmine grading scale. Any flaws in media or clothing, such as creasing, scratches, or staining, are mentioned in the listing to ensure your satisfaction and to protect our business.
Once purchased, you agree to our shipping policies: All sales are final. We will not accept returns for flaws or shipping damages.
